During this past month, I have been very crafty. Many of the CHRISTmas presents that I am giving this year are things that I have made. It's been very relaxing for me and I'm really starting to spend my free time being crafty.
So, I've been thinking (yes, I know it's a scary thought, but I have been thinking). BTW, TH (The Husband) always gets scared when I start a sentence with "I've been thinking.." You know why? It's because my thoughts usually involve spending a little money.....yea, I'd be scared too.
So, back on topic......
I've been thinking that I may need to open an etsy shop!! Ta-Dah!
waiting for the Hallelujah chorus to start.....
waiting....
still waiting...
Are those crickets that I hear?
You see, I don't hear the Hallelujah chorus because I'm still not sure if it's something I want to do. The only things I would be comfortable offering is my snowman plaques and some other things that I will be able to show you after CHRISTmas (because they are presents and I don't want to post picture yet because the people who are getting them might see them because they might read this blog although I don't think they do but I still don't want to take any chances.....*deep breath*).
Plus, if I have an etsy shop, I will have to have an awesome name for it. And I'm drawing a blank. Total blank. Nothing. I don't think people will want to buy anything crafty from someone that goes by LoserGirl.

Meal Plan - You Can Do It, Too!!
Many of my friends have been discussing meal planning lately so I decided to post some links that have been very helpful for me when I started. I'm only including three links right now and will add some more later. There is so much information out there on meal planning and it can be overwhelming!!
Creating a Weekly Meal Plan by Unclutterer: This is great post to get you started! Lots of information plus a couple of printouts.
Tools for Healthy Living by Everydayhealth.com: Lots of online tools including meal planning, shopping lists, calculators, etc.
Supercook.com: Not meal planning per se, but a great site for finding recipes based on what you have on hand. Just enter your ingredients in the box, and tons of recipes will pop up for those ingredients. I use it all the time!!

Meal Planning
Recently I've had many people asking me about meal planning. So I thought I would just add it on here and direct them this way.
I started meal planning at the beginning of this year and have done it off and on since then. Sometimes I plan out the whole month and sometimes I just do a few days. In the beginning, I was stressed to do it every month and I though I HAD to stick to what I had planned. If I wrote down chili for Tuesday then, by george, I had to have chili on Tuesday!!
But, the whole purpose of meal planning is to make life less stressful....yea, I should have remembered that. It took me about two months to realize that even though I planned things, every day life quickly changes plans when you are least expecting it.
Now, I meal plan when I have time (usually once a week) and stick to it as best I can. I have found that if I meal plan for two weeks, it lasts me about three weeks. Things come up and meals get moved to the next week.
Something else that has changes since the beginning is that I only meal plan for dinner. Some people meal plan each and every meal. That is fine if it works for you. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but have breakfast stuff on hand at all times for The Boy and The Husband. I also keep simple lunch foods on hand ~ frozen pizza, sandwich meats, fries, etc. ~for those days that we don't eat leftovers.
Here is my meal plan for this week. I only planned Mon-Fri because on Sundays we usually eat out and Saturday is usually leftovers from the week. You may notice that I have only planned four meals. I have a potluck on Tuesday night and am fixing some veggies to take.
Chili w/cornbread
Chicken Salad on croissants, chips
Mandi's Crock Pot Ribs, mac and cheese, steamed asparagus
Shrimp Scampi, mashed potatoes, lima beans

Bee Spit Update
Bee Spit is how my loving, supportive husband refers to the Zi Xui Tang (aka bee pollen) tablets.
I've been taking them for about a week now, and I actually have lost more weight this week. However, I'm still not so sure about them. It is a detox program so I was expecting some really horrific side effects. I have heard horror stories about (ahem) bathroom issues, stomach cramps, and jittery nerves. But, it actually hasn't been that bad.
The first two days I had two incidents where my body felt tingly all over. I had head to toe goose bumps! Those incidents only lasted about 5 to 10 minutes each and that was it. I haven't had another one since. So, I guess the only side effect has been the bathroom issue.
Let me pause here and say that I really don't want to discuss my bathroom habits with you all. BUT!! I did make a promise to myself that I would keep this blog real and honest. So here goes. Quit reading if you want, but you have been warned!! ;)
Like I said, these pills are about detoxing when you first start them. They flush out the toxins. To do this, I have to eat something fatty during the day. About 30 minutes to an hour after eating something super fatty, off to the bathroom I go. I guess you could say these make my digestive system very regular. No, it's not diarrhea, but I am VERY regular now. That's something you wanted to know, right? :)
So, I'm going to use them for another week and then decide if I want to toss or keep them.

Something New
When I got serious about weight loss, I told me husband that I couldn't do it alone. I needed his help. Let me pause here and say that I really do have the best husband in the world, but that's a post for another day.
He's been very supportive the past few months and I am so grateful! He watches Samuel so I can go to Weight Watchers meetings, he compliments me and encourages me with his words, and does so much more! About a week ago, he came home with a new product for me to try out. I wasn't so sure about it at first, but did some research online and decided to give it a go. I'm going to use for a week and see what happens.
I'm still a little skeptical, but we'll see. Here's a link to what I am using.
Have any of you used it? Please share your experiences in the comments.

Just Call Her M...
Another friend of mine has started a blog about her journey to lose weight. M and I have been friends for a long time, but recently reconnected on facebook. We don't see each often, but we have so much in common.
That's why I wasn't surprised when I was reading her first post, and I noticed many similarities between our stories. While we have had different journeys to being overweight, it was our children who made us get serious about being healthy.
Be sure to check out My Journey to the Skinny Chic Within. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and tell her I sent ya!

Is That a Smaller Number I See?
Why, yes. Yes, it is. Stepped on the scales last week and now I am down 6.8lbs. Can you say. "SLOW WEIGHT LOSS".....well, I can. And I am fine with that. This is my second month on WW and while the weight isn't melting off like I wish it would, I have decided to not let that get me down. I'll take what I can get.

6 lbs Total
Yay me!!!
I have lost a total of 6 lbs since starting WW. I am so proud of myself. I have worked hard to lose those 6 lbs and feel so accomplished. I finally feel like I'm getting on track with my life.
Isn't it amazing how losing 6 little lbs. can change my outlook? I feel better about myself and know that I am heading in the right direction.
Now, it's time to step it up a notch. That's right, I'm talking about the dreaded "e" word.....

EXERCISE!!
I bought Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred and will be starting in on Monday. Now, Jillian Michael's gets on my last nerve. So, I'm not sure how that's going to work. However, I have some friends who have been doing it about a week and they have already been able to tell a difference in their energy and strength. So, with their support, I'm going to give it a whirl!
The best part? I got the DVD for free! I used some of my Amazon gift cards that I got with Swagbucks!
Double Woot!!

It makes me giggle.
I have decided to get serious about this scrapbooking and am in the process of changing my spare bedroom into a craft room. And by "in the process," I mean that I just thought of doing it last night. Now, I need to get started.
Anywho.....
Another aspect of my seriousness is that I have joined the Cricut Message Board. Wow! Tons of ideas and inspiration!! Since I am going to link this blog in my signature, I signed up as LoserGirl. Gotta keep that real name secret, right? hehehe.
Well, I had to put a last name when I was registering so I used "Loser" as my first name and "Girl" as my last name. So now, when I sign on to the message board I get this wonderful welcoming message in the top right corner of my screen. So sweet of them.
What does the message say, you ask?
"welcome back Loser."

WW Week 4
Gloom.
Despair.
Tragedy.
Yep, I went back to WW after missing a week (or 2), not journaling, and just not following the plan.
Gloom.
Despair.
Tragedy.
Yep, I gain weight.
Gloom...
Desp.....oh, you get the idea.
The good news is that I only gained .6! I was hoping my gain would be less than a pound and it was. Whoop! Whoop!!

New Direction
I have decided to take this blog in a new direction.I'm going to continue the weightloss posts, but will now be adding craft/scrapbooking stuff posts, too.
Now, those two things don't necessarily go hand in hand, but that's my life!! A mixed up jumble of random stuff. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Update.....Long Overdue!!
So I started WW and did great the first two weeks. I lost over 5 lbs and met my first goal!! How awesome is that? Pretty, awesome, I'd say.
Then life got busy and I missed a few meetings, gained a pound back, and quit journaling. Now, I'm dreading going back to that meeting on Friday. I know I've put some of those 5+ lbs (if not more) back on and I don't want to step on that scale.
I will, though. I HAVE to. I have to get back on track. I have to be more healthy. I have to lose weight.
I'm tired on not being able to bend over without groaning.
I'm tired of my legs hurting when I get up.
I'm tired of not being able to breathe after walking up a flight of stairs
and
I'm tired of huffing and puffing everywhere I go.
Therefore, I will go to that meeting on Friday. I will step on that scale and I WILL NOT get mad at myself for fluctuating on my weight. It's what happens, right?
I'll let you know how it goes.

D'oh!
I was just stalking my blog and was wondering why people never left comments on here. Am I just that boring and people don't want to comment? Do I actually have any readers? Sure, I have followers (love you four!!), but do those followers actually check in and read?
Then I noticed that there was no comment link for you to click!! D'oh!!! Somehow I had my settings set to where new post didn't allow comments.
So, now that is fixed along with an email link and link link (is that the correct terminology?) being added.
I am fully expecting comments from now on, dear readers. That means you!!
Alright, alright. You don't HAVE to comment, but it makes my day when you do.

Food Fest Until Friday!!!
Well, I did it.
I've really been praying about losing weight and why I struggle so much. I just can't so no to foods for some reason. I mean, what kind of hold does food have on me? Jeez!
So, I've been praying for God to show me what I need to do, to give me strength and guidance. I've always known that Weight Watchers was the only success I've ever had when losing weight. I just couldn't afford to pay for the meetings. I've tried to do the online program, but had no luck because I had no one holding me accountable. I need that person to answer to.
About a month ago, I started tutoring a little boy and with the $$ I am making doing that, I have more than enough to start WW again!! The cheapest WW plan is $40 bucks a month and I know that the money can used elsewhere. So while I've wanted to sign up, I waited and kept praying.
And guess what!!!
In the mail today came a WW flyer with coupons in it!! Coupons, I say!!! If you know me, I have become a coupon princess (not quite a Coupon Queen, but I'm getting there!!).
Which means on Friday, I am going to start WW again.
Which means for the next two days, I am going to be eating anything and everything I want.
Which means I will be wearing jeans to first weigh in to guarantee some weight loss in that first week. Sneaky, huh? ;)

Clutter - Part 1
I have decided that I have too much clutter in my life. To combat this, I did what any self respecting person would do and started searching the internet for ways to declutter. Yeah, I could just start cleaning and organizing, but I need a plan and I know there is someone out in BlogLand that would lead me on my journey to an uncluttered house.
Naturally, I found just the blog I needed within minutes. The post is called Transforming Your Mount Everest...One Hour at a Time and was written by Amy over at Momadvice.com. The original post can be found by clicking here.
In the post, she gives some great tips for starting on that problem area. The one piece of advice that I liked the most was to schedule a regular clutter date. Just one day a week. That's all. I can do that!! I am thinking about even taking before and after pictures *gasp* and posting them on here *double gasp* so you all can see my amazing transformation!!
Yes, yes I will. I will post pictures of my messiness *triple gasp*!!!!

Slim Down Saturday - 5 Step to Get Started
No, we are not getting started on Slim Down Saturday. I already did that here, Silly! Today I am discussing how to get started on losing that weight you want to be rid of. Whether it's 10, 30, or 100 lbs. The first step is getting started!
For me, getting started seems to be the hardest step. After I lose a few pounds it's easier to say no to those Cheetos and Dr. Peppers. The following are a few steps that I have used to help me finally be successful.
Step 1: Start small - For the first week of my diet, I make one change. Add in a few minutes of exercise, drink more water, don't eat that dessert that you really want. Small changes add up to big weigh loss over time.
Step 2: Find a friend - Study after study shows that people have more success with weight loss if they have a friend along the way. This week, two other ladies and I decided to get together once a week for own little Weight Watcher-esque meetings. We are going to hold each other accountable, share recipes, share success stories, exercise, and do whatever else we can to help each other get healthy.
Step 3: Set goals (Mini or Big) - Goals don't just have to be getting to that perfect weight, either. Set exercising goals, food goals (eat more veggies), or mental goals. I have weekly goals (exercise 3 days this week, drink more water, etc) and overall goals (run a marathon, total weight loss, etc).
Step 4: Reward yourself - Don't forget to celebrate those accomplishments. For every 5 lbs I lose, I reward myself with something small. The last time I was dieting, I sat down with my husband and set up some bigger rewards because spending money was involved. At 50 lbs, I get an hour massage! (Note to self: Remind hubby of these rewards).
Step 5: Have a Diet Free Day - I have to have this to be successful. I give myself either Saturday or Sunday as a Diet Free Day - depending on our schedule. Plus, I only use my DFD if I have lost weight that week. It makes it so much easier to say no to those Cheetos on Thursday. I tell myself, "Wait to Sunday. Then go crazy!!"
Now, it's your turn. What tips do you have to add. Let's help each other out!!!

Slim Down Saturday - Favorite WW Recipes
I thought I would share some of my favorite Weight Watchers recipes. When I am dieting, I love to make soups. So easy and lots of leftovers!
1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
2 chopped medium onions
(1) 15 oz can of pinto beans
(1) 15 oz can of black beans
(1) 15 oz can of diced tomatoes
(1) 11 oz can of Mexicorn
(1) 4.5 oz can of jalapenos
1 pkg of dry Old El Paso taco seasoning
1 pkg dry Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
1 1/2 cups of water
Directions: Brown meat and onions together. Drain. Combine the remaining ingredients with the meat and onions and simmer for 20 minutes.
Note: I leave out the Mexicorn and jalapenos and it is still great! Play around with the recipe. It's easy to do.
6 cups broth
Cooking spray
2 carrots, peeled and diced
1 large onion, diced
4 teaspoons garlic (from a jar or substitute four cloves minced garlic)
1/2 cabbage, chopped (or use a bag of slaw, the biggest chunks you can find vs the fine, don't skip the cabbage for it somehow makes the soup)
1/2 pound frozen green beans
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 large zucchini, diced
Bring the broth to a boil in the microwave. (This is a time-saving tip that can be skipped if there's no hurry.)
Spray a Dutch oven or large pot with cooking spray and heat on MEDIUM HIGH. Add the carrots, onion and garlic and cook for about 5 minutes. Add all the remaining ingredients EXCEPT the zucchini and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat to MEDIUM and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the beans are tender. Add the zucchini and cook until the zucchini are tender. Serve and enjoy!
I hope you enjoy these recipes.
Note: I copied the Garden Veggie Soup recipe here from A Veggie Venture because I couldn't find my copy.

Garden Vegetable Soup - 0 points
This one has more ingredients, but is 0 points, so it's a trade off. Of course, you can modify and not have so many ingredients. Also, I use frozen veggies and it cuts down on the prep time.6 cups broth

My Moment
Everyone has that moment when weight loss gets serious. A turning point if you will.
I had mine tonight and it was not fun.
Years ago, I used to coach cheerleading with a lady who is part of the S crowd.* She never puts on weight.
NEVER.
The last time I saw her was about 4 or 5 years ago. When I ran into her tonight, she didn't even recognize me. Only until after I spoke to her and she recognized my voice, did she know who I was.
Yes, I've put on that much weight.
Nothing has made me feel as bad as the look on her face did. It sucked. Sucked, big time.
So, tomorrow, I add exercising to my routine. It's time to kick it up a notch!!
*BTW, S crowd = Skinny crowd.

No Mama.
Those are the horrible words that I heard tonight. I did not like it.
Although our family isn't big "plan makers" and are more "fly by the seat of our pants," we do have a nighttime schedule. Since I don't work and am not a morning person, we have the luxury of being able to sleep in if we want --The Boy and I woke up at 11:30 today. Don't hate me.
I start getting The Boy ready for bed around 9:30. Each night that The Husband is home, he and The Boy go to bed and I --being a nightowl--leave them alone. They fall asleep and I go to bed much later.
Well, tonight The Husband was tired after working around the house all day. Added to that, The Boy had a late-marathon-4-hour nap. So, The Husband was ready for bed way before The Boy was. So he goes on to bed. The Boy and I stay up, watching TV, playing on the computer, and whatever else late night activities came to mind. At midnight, I noticed The Boy rubbing his eyes. He's one that likes to know what is going on, so when I noticed, I told him that we would be going to bed as soon as the show we were watching was over. He wasn't too happy, but said, "Ok, Mama."
Show went off; we head to brush teeth, take medicine, etc. We climb into bed -- yes, we co-sleep--and The Boy snuggles up to me. Now, remember, he usually goes to bed with The Husband.
After we said our prayers, The Boy was all over the place, throwing his arms around, singing, and playing. He would not settle down. I knew he was tired, but this was not his regular routine and he wasn't cooperating!!
After about 10 minutes, The Husband rolls over (I'm sure we woke him) and The Boy realizes Daddy is there! Out of the dark, I hear this little voice say, "Want Daddy." As soon as I said, "Daddy's right over there," my boy was out of my arms and in his daddy's. Not one movement, not one sound. Instant calm settled over our bed. I was amazed!
After laying there thanking God for all my wonderful blessings, I laid my hand on The Boy's head. The same little voice from before said, "No, Mama" and then yawned.
Well, I knew my place. I got out of bed and am now here, on the couch, telling my tale.
Sometimes a little boy needs Daddy's touch and not Mommy's.
:) Yay for daddy.
:( Boo for mommy.

Successful Saturday!!
I am happy to come to you this Saturday and announce....
(insert drumroll here)
(insert drumroll here)
I LOST WEIGHT THIS WEEK!!
It's amazing how much better I feel! I know it's only 2 lbs, but I have to start somewhere, right? I have been watching my snacks this week - as in eating less of them- and trying to limit my Dr. Pepper intake. As we all know, Dr. Pepper is one of my weaknesses.
And now I no longer have to admit that I am only 10 lbs from 200. That feels pretty good to.
Now it's your turn, share your successes with me! I want to celebrate with you!!
And now I no longer have to admit that I am only 10 lbs from 200. That feels pretty good to.

Welcome to Slim Down Saturday!
I am so excited about today's post!! Earlier this week I mentioned that I had partnered with Frugal Little Thing and would be guest posting on her blog weekly. Today is the day!!
First I would like to introduce myself. I am a stay at home mom of a sweet little monster (The Boy) who keeps me active. The Boy is two and quite adorable, if I do say so myself. I am married to a firefighter (you're jealous, I know) and am an active member of my church. Active = Sunday School teacher, Bible School director, working with the youth, and designing/maintaining the church website. Shew! I'm tired just typing all that out!!
Now on to the depressing part.
When I got pregnant with The Boy, I was about 20 lbs overweight. During my pregnancy, I gained 35 - 45 lbs....can't remember which.
Anywho...
I lost 20 lbs after giving birth really quickly! Breastfeeding, anyone? Well, my body must have loved being a chunky monkey because when I had to quit breastfeeding, it welcomed all that weight (plus more) back with open arms!!
As of today, I weigh more than I did when I gave birth. I'm only 10 lbs from 200. I really hate admitting that, but there it is. 190 lbs on a person who is only 5'4" makes for a fat mommy.
Many months ago, I started a blog about weight loss thinking it would keep me on track. If I had to admit what I weighed and journal about my exercise and diet, I would do better, right? I thought so. Problem is I didn't know if anyone was reading the blog so really I had no one holding me accountable. I would post something every once in awhile, but not regularly. Sure, I had one or two a few friends who would comment, but I still wasn't a faithful post-er.
Which leads us to today. Frugal Little Thing approached me about posting a weekly health and fitness post and I agreed!
Each Saturday, you can check in and I will have something posted about health and fitness. It might be a website/blog recommendation, a success (or failure), a favorite recipe, or an exercise routine that I have tried. I will also be taking questions and suggestions for post ideas.
I will also be posting things throughout the week, but they will be more of a random topic. You will find that I am a random person. So check in through the week, too. Oh! I almost forgot. I am in the process of "moving" to this blog address. If you want to read all the post from the beginning (you know you do!!), check out the original LoserGirl Blog.
If you want to contact me you can email me at llosergirll at gmail dot com. I will do my best to reply and say hello.
So, what do you think? Are you as excited about Slim Down Saturday as I am? Leave a comment introducing yourself. I can't wait to hear from you!!

And that's a good thing.....
.....I think......
Yes, yes, it is.
Right?

Day Post Challenge Day Two (Tuesday)
Jaime over at I have a Coupon for that! is another friend I met at What To Expect. We both have toddlers born in Dec. '07 and have gotten to know each other better through Facebook. I think the night we really "talked" was the night we both stayed up and tried to get one of those elusive Old Navy coupons (remember that, Jaime?). I don't think either one of us got one, but we did find a partner in bargain hunting.
Not too long ago, she started a blog and now has over 200 followers!! She hosts lots of giveaways and always has a post about deals to be found. She also includes recipes, freebies, reviews, and crafts. (Told you there was a bunch of stuff on there!)
You can find here on twitter and facebook.

Daily Post Challenge Day 1 (Monday)
I am so excited to announce that I have partnered with Frugal Little Thing and will be posting a weekly health/fitness post on Saturdays.
I met Frugal Little Thing (FLT) back in 2007. We both frequented the What To Expect Dec. 07 baby board. Like many of the people on that board we carried our friendship over to facebook. I have met some great ladies through that board and have had so much fun watching our little ones grow up.
FLT is a master money saver and decided to start a blog a few months ago. It is a wonderful site with tons of couponing, money-saving, and going green information.
Click here for a post about her weekly schedule. When she talks about her Saturday guest poster, that's me!!
Tomorrow, I will be highlighting another money saving blog. I met her on the WTE board too!
You can also find FTL on facebook.

List
A friend of mine does her posts as lists. I thought I would steal the idea. She'll never know.
1. I have a goal this week. I will post one thing each day. Monday through Friday. One post a day. I will do it. I will. Maybe.
2. I lost weight this week.
3. This blog started as a weight loss blog, but I think it's now just a blog.
4. I keep saying I'm going to move everything to the new blog, but keep forgetting about it. Does that make me a bad blogger? Do I care? **Update: This is the new blog. Getting closer!!**
5. My list is not as deep and thoughtful as my friend's. That's okay.
6. I love storms. The sounds, the smell, the colors, the rain, the wind. It's all so beautiful.
7. I wish I had more than two followers.
8. I wish people would make comments on my posts.
9. The end.

Potty Training Woes
The Boy has no interest in being potty trained.
None, nada, zilch.
The Nephew who is 16 months older is potty trained and determined to help The Boy along the way. Whenever they are together, The Nephew takes him to the bathroom and goes through the routine, step by step. The Boy has no interest and it frustrates The Nephew to no end. It's actually quite comical to watch.
Today The Brother and The Nephew were visiting. They brought dinner and after eating, the boys were playing when all of the sudden, The Nephew freezes and stops what he is doing. In all the excitement of playing, he didn't notice that he needed to pee until it was too late.
He thought he was in trouble and didn't want us to notice. The Brother kept telling him it was alright and accidents happen, but The Nephew wasn't sure whether to believe him.
Finally after he was cleaned up, and we were walking back to the living room, I heard The Nephew ask The Brother, "Daddy, are you happy?"
How sweet. It was his way of making sure that his daddy wasn't mad at him.
Ofcourse, The Brother reassured him that all was fine and we all went on our merry way.
The Boy still isn't interested in the potty and I'm not going to force it. That day will come and until then, we'll pay out the wazoo for diapers.

St. Patrick's Day Humor
A man stumbles up to the only other patron in a bar and asks if he could buy him a drink.
“Why of course,” comes the reply.
The first man then asks: “Where are you from?”
“I’m from Ireland,” replies the second man....
The first man responds: “You don’t say, I’m from Ireland too!Let’s have another round to Ireland.”
“Of Course,” replies the second man.
Curious, the first man then asks: “Where in Ireland are you from?”
“Dublin,” comes the reply.
“I can’t believe it,” says the first man.
“I’m from Dublin too! Let’s have another drink to Dublin.”
“Of course,” replies the second man.
Curiosity again strikes and the first man asks: “What school did you go to?”
“Saint Mary’s,” replies the second man. “I graduated in ‘62.”
“This is unbelievable!” the first man says. “I went to Saint Mary’s and I graduated in ‘62, too!”
About that time in comes one of the regulars and sits down at the bar.
“What’s been going on?” he asks the bartender.
“Nothing much,” replies the bartender. “The O’Malley twins are drunk again

3 lbs! Just like that!!
Today, at 5:30, I will lose 3 lbs. Just like that. Easy. No work. Simple.
Now, if you are on a weightloss journey like I am, you may be interested in how you can lose 3 lbs so fast. Here is a 5 step guide.
1. Grow eyebrows.
2. Forget to get them "done" for about 3 months.
3. Look is the mirror and notice that you have two new pets. They would be the caterpillars that now reside above your eyes. Name them if you choose.
4. Make an appointment with your hairstylist.
5. Get those things tamed!!
Voila!
3 lbs. gone!!!

People Enjoy This? Really? Are you Sure?
Today is a day that should be written down in the history books. Did I save someone's life? Did I cure a deadly disease?
Well, kinda. I took steps (you'll get the joke in a second) in that direction. Follow me here, it's a bit of a stretch.
Today I exercised!!! For 30 minutes, I did the Weight Watcher Walk at Home video (Get the joke? "Took steps!" - lame, I know) So, in a way, Yes. Yes, I did save a life today - mine. Or atleast I took steps (there's that joke again) toward saving my life and while I'm not curing a deadly disease, I have started fighting against heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
Yeah, I know that rationalization is a bit of a stretch, but kinda true too.
So what have you done lately to fight the battle of the bulge?
Update on a previous post - Operation Dr. Pepper (aka "Cut Back? Cold Turkery? To Be or Not to Be? Those are the Questions") - I have cut back on my Dr. Pepper and cola consumption. It is taking longer than I planned, but it is happening.

What The?
I just now noticed my visitor counter has been set back to zero. Wonder why that is? Must be my fault. I'll start a new one later. The last time I logged on, it was over 450.
So, if you really want to know what number visitor you are, add 450 to whatever the counter says over there and it'll get you in the ballpark.

Incase Your Wondering
I officially started getting healthy - I typed dieting first, but decided that's not what I'm doing - the week of Christmas. An odd time to start a lifestyle change, but I'm an odd one. Anyway! Since then, I have cut back on the cokes, and tried to eat healthier. Well, I am happy to report that I have lost about 5 lbs now! 2.4 in the last week. :)
Notes of congratulations can be left in a comment. ;)
